For eligible individual server offers, protection depends on the selected plan and the explicitly assigned IP address. Compare Basic, Pro and Gaming on the relevant product.

An illustrative example with 24 packets, not measurements: a network anomaly (such as a fragment), a custom-rule match, a service-profile match and an undetected example attack. Differences result from matching active rules in the model, not measured protection rates. No actual game-protocol inspection, load test or protection or availability guarantee. Basic can also stop real attacks completely; higher plans are not automatically more effective.

Note about self-created VMs: Automatic Shield assignment is not currently configured for the cloud pool. Booking a plan therefore does not automatically protect self-created cloud VMs.

A KVM VPS is a single virtual machine with a chosen resource plan. A dedicated server provides your own physical server. Compare the specifications and your applications' requirements before deciding.
Our EPYC plans are a starting point for websites, bots and apps. For game servers, also consider Ryzen. Your software requirements and the CPU, RAM and storage of the specific plan are what matter.
Check your applications' recommended resources and allow headroom. Look at vCPU cores, RAM and storage. Back up important data separately from the server and check which backup options the offer includes.

Shared-Netzwerk ist gemeinsam genutzte Anbindung, keine reservierte Geschwindigkeit je VM. Die tatsächlich bestellbaren Optionen findest du im Konfigurator.
Weitere VMs sind nur möglich, wenn alle benötigten Ressourcen und IPv4-Adressen frei sind. Eine freie IP allein reicht nicht aus.
Die automatische Shield-Zuordnung für selbst erstellte Cloud-VMs ist derzeit nicht eingerichtet. Netzwerk und Schutzumfang prüfst du beim gewählten Angebot.
Ein Rootserver ist eine einzelne virtuelle Maschine mit gewählten Ressourcen. Ein Cloud-Pool dient zur Verteilung eines Ressourcenbudgets auf mehrere eigene VMs. Ein Dedicated-Angebot umfasst einen physischen Server. Ausstattung und Verfügbarkeit stehen beim jeweiligen Angebot.
Die Anzahl hängt von freien Kernen, RAM, Speicher und verfügbaren IP-Adressen ab. Im Beispiel verwendet jede VM eine IPv4-Adresse. Pro VM sind höchstens acht Kerne vorgesehen; der gesamte Pool kann größer sein. Maßgeblich sind die gebuchten Ressourcen und Einstellungen des Produkts.
Das hängt von Produkt, Verfügbarkeit, Zahlung und erforderlicher Prüfung ab. Cloud wird aktuell manuell geprüft. Dedicated-Verfügbarkeit klären wir per Anfrage. Eine pauschale Bereitstellung innerhalb von Sekunden wird nicht zugesagt.
Bei teilnehmenden Einzelserver-Angeboten richtet sich der Schutz nach dem gebuchten Paket und der ausdrücklich zugeordneten IP-Adresse. Prüfe die Angaben am Produkt. Für neu erstellte Cloud-VMs ist die automatische Shield-Zuordnung derzeit nicht eingerichtet.
